Project Genesis accounts
Project Genesis uses a dedicated backend authentication system to protect player accounts and manage game sessions.

External sign-in
Project Genesis may support trusted external identity providers, including Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Apple.

Backend-managed security
External identity verification, account linking, Project Genesis sessions and game credentials are controlled by the Project Genesis backend.

Sign in with Google
When Google sign-in is available, Google is used only as an authentication provider. Project Genesis manages its own player accounts, sessions and authorization through its backend.
Project Genesis does not treat an email address alone as sufficient proof that two external identities belong to the same player.
